NorCAL ZERO project, a milestone in clean energy innovation supports Hyundai Motor's entry into the U.S. market for Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks

CTE is thrilled to celebrate the selection of The Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (ARCHES), a statewide hydrogen hub initiative in California, as a key recipient of funding from the Department of Energy's Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs program.

CTE recently presented to the GA Drawdown Business Compact on the Georgia Tech campus. The meeting brought together experts and stakeholders to explore and identify potential projects to advance zero-emission transportation in Georgia.

CTE Executive Director, Daniel J. Raudebaugh, is excited to announce the addition of the Honorable Peter DeFazio as the newest member of the CTE Policy Board. CTE's Policy Board is focused on strengthening CTE's advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento, CA.

CTE's second-annual One-on-One Transit and inaugural One-on-One Trucks events were a huge success, bringing zero-emission transportation and infrastructure suppliers together with fleet operators to ask questions and share industry expertise. These back-to-back speed-networking events hosted March 20 - 24 in Atlanta, GA offered CTE Members an exclusive opportunity to grow connections with fleet owner operators from across the country.

This October, The Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) visited Hyundai Motor Company's (HMC's) headquarters in Seoul, South Korea to advance the planning for the largest commercial deployment of Class 8 fuel-cell electric trucks (FCETs) in North America.

Georgia has the potential to become a clean hydrogen hub. With concerted efforts by policymakers and industry leaders in Georgia, the next five years could see hydrogen stations installed throughout Georgia's commercial and industrial zones, supporting operations for the state's world-class freight and logistics infrastructure.
