August 2018: A message from Jason Hanlin, Senior Engineering Consultant and Director of Technology Development at the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) –
On October 4th, 2018, the MARTA Board will vote on the projects that will make up the voter-approved $2.5B transit expansion. There are a couple of things you can do to have input on the plan:
- First, complete the MARTA Survey. Within this survey, you’ll find links to the proposed projects that make up the plan as well as a good description of the mode types like light rail transit (LRT), bus rapid transit (BRT), and arterial rapid transit (ART).
- Second, if you support light rail alongside the Atlanta Beltline – as it was originally envisioned – as a primary focus for these funds, then sign this petition.
