Thunder Bay Transit Authority (TBTA)

During the sixth quarter of the project, Double K signed the federal clauses requested by MDOT.  However, MDOT deemed Double K ineligible since they were not a certified TVM at the time of application.  The team determined that the best way to continue forward is to approach FTA with a justification and request for a sole source procurement.  The team performed a review of trolley manufacturers and drafted a justification letter.  The schedule has been updated to reflect the continued delays in getting procurement approval.
