Southeastern Electric Vehicle Readiness Project

During the past quarter, Center for Transportation established a contract with the Department of Energy and all of its project partners.  Then planning efforts focused on gathering data to resource the planning exercises for project partners to develop EV/EVSE Demand Forecast and Impact Analysis.  Data was collected from the Pike Research, the State of South Carolina, Nissan North America, General Motors, Smith Electric Vehicles, Wheego Electric Cars.  Project partners conducting analysis are South Carolina Institute for Energy Studies, Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham and Southerm Company.

Establish project timeline and began planning the outline of the SEREVRPP Project Workbook to help Clean Cities communities become electrified vehicle pioneers.  Project Partners conducted Kick-off Meeting to establish communication protocols and establish project timelines.  Every project partneres then conducted best practice within their field government, utility, business, etc.

Development work for Stakeholder Workshops began and the initial workshop agendas and presentation materials have been prepared for workshops exercises in Phase 3.
