UTA Paratransit Reduced Idling System

CTE has partnered with Utah Transit Authority (UTA) to develop and demonstrate the Eparc system to reduce paratransit diesel engine idling, lowering operating costs, reducing energy usage, and improving air quality. The University of Texas Center for Electromechanics, Mobile Climate Control, Transworld Associates, and the University of Utah, are partners in the project. This project is made possible by the FTA Bus Efficiency Enhancements Research and Demonstration (BEERD) program.
