After a successful London-based conference in 2016, attended by over 250 global stakeholders, this year’s discussion will be hosted by Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) in Los Angeles, where we will continue efforts towards accelerating the roll out of a truly green transport network across the US.
Why LA? Metro has set an aggressive plan to transition to only zero-emission buses by 2030. The initial phases of this plan are underway with Metro awarding contracts in 2017 for 100 battery electric buses, respectively. As the nation’s second largest transit operator, Metro is setting the bar for zero-emission bus expansion.
The LA conference will again bring together the key stakeholders from industry, policy makers & operators to focus on the leading zero-emission technologies for buses: fuel cell electric and battery electric. Sector experts will discuss the latest advances made by each technology and efforts underway to expand the market.
The Zero Emission Bus Conference is an opportunity to connect with experts in the industry and an open invitation to regional policy makers and stakeholders to participate in the next wave of global public transport innovation.
